Hyangwonjeong - A lotus pond and this two-storied hexagonal pavilion were made on a manmade islet in 1873, when King Gojong built Geoncheonggung for his secluded residence in the rear palace grounds. A wooden bridge, called Chihyanggyo, was laid over the pond to the pavilion.
